    VANDERVEER, JOSEPH (Warren County)
    Matross in New Jersey Malitia, Capt Barns Smock's Company of Artillery in Monmouth Co., N.J. Stryker's List, p796. Born 1759, New Jersey. Died 1842 in Warren County, Ohio. Buried New Jersey Presbyterian Church near Carlisle, Ohio in the northwest corner.
    Monument Inscription: "Josepth Van Derveer, a Native of New Jersey, died 1842, aged 82 years."
    He was a pensioner and in his application made in this section June 25, 1833 he gave his age as 74.
