OBITUARY:
FARIES, Edward L. 66, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, formerly of Middletown, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at home.
He was born in Middletown on October 30, 1945 to parents Charles S. "Bud" and Ada Mae (Weikel) Faries. Ed worked as
a lab technician at Armco / AK Steel for 42 years, retiring in 2007. He served his country in the United States Army
during Vietnam. Mr. Faries is survived by his wife of 17 years, Telana S. (Bush) Faries; sons, Michael L. Faries,
Cody Mitchem & Jason Duff; step daughters, Samantha Christophel & Jessica Christophel; granddaughter, Aubree Christophel;
mother & father-in-law, Sandra & Ronnie Pruitt; brother-in-law, Jason Bush; and many friends at AK Steel. He was preceded
in death by his son, Glennis James Christophel in 2009 and parents. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
